not the council for the following reasons!

1) they look to be doing something out side the van
2) they look to be doing something other than standing looking at the hole n the road
3) there are not 40 million cones to navigate round 1 person
4) they are doing something!!!!

its prob the local pikeys digging up all the metal works in the town at night making it look kile (badly i may add as they are doing something) council workers!

Sight Unit Small Arms Trilux. SUSAT is only useful as a sight. Shooting with your fore sight is where it's at

 

People moan if the council don't fix the road/drains/lights/bins/schools (delete as appropriate).

Cuz they do it at the wrong time with no warning.

 

If it's a gas leak, or your toilets are all backed up, or there is no water coming out the tap there is no such thing as the "wrong" time to do the job!

As said above if it's a water main or gas pipe that's gone there isn't a wrong time they'll just go in under an emergency notice and get on with it. I've has to do a bit of NRSWA noticing at work and it's a bugger

ive no problem with them doing the work even at night but there was NO warning. had there been a notice through door a week in advance or so then it wouldnt be a problem because you make allowances!!
Ive done loads of them apparently it scares people and is amusing for everyone else!!!

Also you can get some cracking night photos through a scope as its designed to capture as much light as possible.

In the first one you can see the tritium illuminated reticule! not bad for a twilight photo!

Also the cop car shot i spent ages snapping away to get the perfect blue lighting flash for atmosphere.

The one of the bloke out my window was a work colleague and it was funny as fuck when i gave him a print out!! Had to play with the photo colour a bit as it was a bright day and i couldnt find the sun shade for the scope!!

Yes i am a bit sad

no neil, ive not yet had a need to come round your house so no need for the full "just in case" mapping

on the google point, its such a good resource for terrorists and police and stalkers alike these days 20 years ago it would have cost thousands and thousands to task spy satellites, send in surviellance teams just to get basic cover intel. now its just a click away!
