Default spraying using a gun from cans?

done several jobs with cans and can get a good finish now, just wondering if i ever use th 'brand new gun' which i still keep buying cans will i find it easier and get a better job? cheers

mixing paint is easy..you can get these special cups which have all the measurements of how much thinner/hardener you need to put in ratio to the paint..

buy a DECENT gun you wont regret it and it'll last you ages!!

they dont cost too much...picked mine up for about Ł30 when i resprayd my car in the summer...make sure you get a 5l tin of industrial thinner to clean your gun when you get it! costs a fiver and its handy having it

ive already got the gun, loading pics up now, think it was Ł35-40 and is a gravity fed, prob give it ago to spray my wheels

do u think a heater really matters? when i resprayed my car i did it in my garage didnt use a heater it came out luvly jublyy..but that was in the summer and in my garage..this is how it came out..

i can paint to a reasonable standard and learnt myself did a bit off reasearch and bought a few scrap doors and got stuck in tryed different ways i gona paint my disco this year

its 99% prep.

hours and hours of laborious prep and you'll always get a good finish. even if you mess it up, if you've prepared it properly you can just flat it back and go again.

any one can sling paint on a car its just how much orange peel you have rub down an polish up,there not much skill in that its the prep work /filler work that makes a good paint job, i always notice at shows ,but then im qualified ,id try the paint you wount use cans again lol
