not sure if anyone can help out but im looking to get a oil presure gauge for my mr2 2ltr g-limited and i wondering if i can use a electrical gauge because the oil filter is in a gay location and i dont want to muck about, two wires with a switch job done! so electrical or not? LOL THNAKS IN ADVANCE

The filter is tucked away but you still need to find a take off on an oil gallery for an electrical sender, always use capillary for oil pressure

where the original oil pressure switch is, get an adaptor that allows u to screw oil press switch and oil pres sensor, dont use electrical guages theyre pish...

Instead use a capillary so if the pipe breaks you can have hot oil inside your car, for a few seconds till the sump empties and the engine goes bang, or even petrol with a fuel pressure gauge.
This is the reason why I won't use capillary, there is no reason why electrical need be any less accurate, most just use a piezo crystal which is immensely accurate.
