Default Calling the breakers and knowledgable people :)

Please help me out how to remove the black plastic surround that sits inside the fuel lid, I want to replace the gasket but cant seem to get the surround out enough to put the gasket in place.

open lid take the fuel neck cap off and undo the screw thats inside the cover. Go in the boot and disconnect your fuel flap pull if 4x4. Get your hand behind where the cover is and the are some lugs to push in to get the actual fuel flap out. Once you have this out it will be alot easier to get the rubber gasket off and fit the new one. Then in good old haynes fashion 'refitting is the opposite of reversal'. Bout a 15-20 min job

Cheers, thought I had to click all the four clips open but two of them is very hard to reach.

Turns out its just the two clips facing the back of the car that can be undone and then you just unscrew it about 45 degrees so that it pops out at an angle, after that just drag it straight out.
