People happily pay more than that for a set of comp cxn so I dont see it as excessive, try finding another new set.

If a 500/3dr owner has a nice show car and tatty wheels Im sure they would pay it if they want to car to remain original rather than run a skimmed refurbed set as the Ford badge in the centre often gets lost in the skim, and the laquer always seems to cloud over quicker on the refurbed ones

Would I pay it - no, but I am tight.

 

not the worst i've seen on there. some joker wants £800 for a set of white painted escos wheels with the wrong size tyres on! at least the 3 dr rims are rarer!

 

wow just a bit dear if you ask me. I think its mad how new parts which are still in the ford boxes are just springing up out of know where.

 

same, i dont see why people nbought them in the first place and never used them
i think we should all do it now, by loads of stuff for the new frs etc and sell it on as new in 20 years time

 

i have a mate who can make any boxes he likes ,all he doe's is refurbish things makes the boxes and sell them as new no one knows the differance

in a way they are nigh on priceless as there cant be many left new these days.....you pay 250 a corner for comps and there everywhere. if i had a mint rs500 with imperfect rims i'd buy em......and sell the old ones for £500 lmao
