Graceland has changed one on his escort and he said it wasn't the easiest of jobs....think the dash has to come out.

If it's anything like the 2i, I know my other half is waiting to get the car up the Gracey's to use the pit cos the pipes run too close to the cross-member and he couldn't get to them from jacking it up on the drive.... so I am still cold.....

Yep, I hope its warmer up there than it is down here...... or you have a nice heater you can sit at the side of you whilst you are working away!

it is a dash out job mate and tbh it isn't that much of a ball ache just time consuming the dash is only held in with torques screws, sure you'll be fine and it'll be alot better than the mobile swimming pool you have at the moment

dash out but they are very easy to do ,simply put ,drop battary leads, unplug connecters from top of fuse box, remove steering wheel, unscrew heater controls, remove instuments unscrew dash and remove you then have asses to the heater
