My old N95 had a very workable version of windows live messenger on it and i was disappointed to find out that its replacement doesnt. I assume it will be available as an app, but does anyone know where i can get a good free download?

Its a bit of a scam with mobiles. All the readers, add ons etc that are free on laptops seem to cost money on phones.

could use fring, its free and lets you use windows live, yahoo messenger and some other popular instant messengers.

Seems to work fine on my n95 8gig, not sure about the n97 but its worth shot?
