You know that black coloured foam they use to make rear light cluster seals from? Found on loads of Fords I'm sure, but my particular query relates to the MK5 Escort.

Anyway, anyone know what it's called? Is it Neoprene? I went to a place and managed to get something very similar to the Ford stuff once, but I've since moved away so not sure where I could locate some.

I refuse to pay the price Ford seem to want for a couple of seals, as last time I got an offcut for nothing and made them myself, from a slightly thicker foam so they got a much better seal anyway.

Am I right with the Neoprene thing? Where could I get a bit? Online or local to Stafford

I think you would just call it high density foam.
