hello to everybody at passionford
just posting to introduce myself and say hi!!
im andy and ive joined a few ford sites over the last year, ive always been a cossie fan i think it comes from childhood in the 80`s and 90`s.
my freind has just bought a 4x4 92 sapphire so i will be looking on here a lot so i can learn more to help him out.
i think i will end up buying a cossie but not until i have finished my current project witch is a pug 306 gti6, i have done lots of mods to it and i currently have a rotrex c30 supercharger sat here waiting to go on, im just saving for the fmic and the pipework to be made, then i can get about fitting it, i cant take any credit to designing the system though, that has been done by a very clever man in hampshire and a garage called lynx power.
im hoping to achieve around 250bhp using the standard engine, after this it will only take a rebuilt bottom end with lower comp pistons and a remap to make about 390bhp!!
anway it would be nice to compare with you ford mob on a track to see how they compare, pity i wont see your torque figures though!!
thanks to everybody for help ive received so far and the threads ive read through have helped loads so far with the sierra.
take care, andy

the guy that designed it has the bigger charger fitted, he made over 500bhp at one point but downtuned it to a reliable 450 ish.
it was in quite a few magazines.
the chargers are the same as fitted to the german supercar koneisegg (or however you spell it) lol!
im wondering how big a project it would be to fit a rotrex supercharger to a sierra cosworth.

Like the 306gti. I got one the same colour!
Dont know of a bonnet going for sale that colour? haha.
I have gone full circle, 400bhp cossie, then into bmws sold it put money into house and bought the 306gti as stop gap. Though year on and still have it! haha. Might change it soon though i might get better house. If i do the 306 is here a bit longer......

they may not have the torque or power but the 306gti6 sure does handle really really well.
anyway here is my really good freinds 4x4, it was r/r`d about a year ago and has been stood for most of that, and it apparently made 280bhp.
but we both know there is a long long way to go with this one, and its a bit of a dog compared to most.

pic while working on it:

thihes after some standard cossie wheels for the sapphire.
this is going on the gti6 lol:.

It does its my old car, was going to chop it up and use it as a doner for a focos project but ended up buying one already done. Mi brothers bought it and plans on getting it up to standard.
Went on a rolling road today and only produced 140bhp at the wheels running 12 psi of boost, seems to think somthing wrong with the fuel pump or wiring. anyone any ideas??
Cheers,Rick
