S1 RS Turbo With No Engine

Default S1 RS Turbo With No Engine

Hi all ive just got an S1 Rs turbo with no engine but the shell is mint also ive got an S2 Rs Turbo running gear is good but the shell is bad so my question is can i fit the S2 engine into the S1 what do i need to know thanks if you can help

You need a S1 gearbox for the front adjustable tie bars but the engine itself should go straight in without any mucking about

Pretty much all S2 parts under my bonnet mate apart from as said the gearbox

im doing this the other way round s1 stuff into a s2 & im having trouble making the intercooler & radiator fit??

also for the lad above you wont need a complete gearbox change just change the outer section of the gearbox to a differant bolt patern

yeah the S1 & S2 rads and intercoolers are different because the front panel is different and yeah you can just change the casing on the gearbox but some people would find it easier to change the whole box
