cam timing on vernier pulleys ?

Default cam timing on vernier pulleys ?

Hi,

If you want the cam to come in earlier do you advance or retard the pulley ? (piper T2 on an erst by the way)

advance the intake cam to move the power down in the rev range

cheers, so if I was to advance the cam timing 1 degree via the vernier would I notice any major difference

you need to set the vernier to pipers setting to achieve the correct max lift/duration.
ring them and ask for the setting it will be something like 114degress ATDC

the cams allready been fitted & timed in I was just wondering if its worth altering the vernier pulley slightly because the cam comes in very late, anyone ?

I don't know if you'd notice it in the seat of your pants or not, but you *should* see it on a dyno chart.
