How to fit an oil pressure gauge?

Default How to fit an oil pressure gauge?

Having a bit of trouble guys...

Dont know what to go for a machanical one or and eletrical one?

And how do i fit them?

get the electrical one
replaces the existing oil pressure switch

get an electrical 1,you dont want hot oil entering the cab.i got a sandwich plate for the old sensor and added a temp sensor too while using the originaloil pressure hole in the engine block for the new gauge sensor.

Electrical are more prone to inaccuracies (so i've heard) and respond much slower to changes in oil pressure....... I've had both BTW and now would only use mechanical
Yes you do run an oil line inside the car but as long as you fit it correctly you wont get any leaks! lol
