Default RS Turbo standard wheel width

Hi all,

Does any one know what the standard wheel width for the s2 is?

I want a set of r888's for the pod and a few track days this year (when the car is finally back together) and was considering a set of 205/50/15 over the standard 195/60/15.... any one done this, or just used the r888's? what they like?

Rob,

pretty sure the 6 inch mate with the r888s go with 195's as the are massive on the rim big side walls etc

or get some form of standard cossie wheel if you want 205's

good advice there 205 just fit with spacers on cosworth rims but rub like fuck on the back 195 are perfect.

As said, 195/50/15's are the ones to go for.....great tyres for trackdays, i've been through a couple of sets now! But won't see the full benefits on the road imo as you just don't get the heat into them and they do wear fairly quickly, ideally have a spare set of rims with the r888's on

Thinking thats the idea, but tbh the car probably wont do 1000 miles a year

Cheer again
