if you looked here at the top of this section:
https://passionford.com/forum/ford-e...-database.html

you would have tracked the pic down and can pm RS_Shawn incase he knows anything more of it.

Nice S1's are a bit of a rarity these days, as I bet you already know - so be prepared to spend some money if you want anything half decent.

I owned c820 lvk for roughly six months, it was a complete headache the whole time I owned it!! I replaced starter motor, rear main seal (twice) gearbox and two clutches! I regretted selling it though, do you own it now?

When i went to look at it (and bought it on ebay) upon turning up to collect it the car was rotten as fuck, this was about 4/5 years ago. The respray was terrible, sills were shot, it wanted cutting up and weighing in tbh! Bloke agreed it was fucked and refunded me.

You buying it then? lol

Yes I've had it a short while just started to strip it a few weeks ago with the intention of having it resprayed. The body work seems really good only 3 small areas that need welding besides that its mint. I noticed the starter motor was new when I removed the lights, unfortunately the rad is missing seems at some point it housed a huge radiator. Did you have much history with it. Ive checked with VOSA apparently it failed its last MOT mentioning loads of rust however theres nothing on it. I assume It was all done at a later date. I have receipts confirming it had a full respray. Did you replace it with a new gearbox. I have pictures which I can send, the seats have slight wear but dash is near mint

I never took it home, me and two other ford enthusiasts ripped it to pieces and found so much wrong with it! If you take the interior and carper out you will see how fuck it is unless it was repaired properly, which I doubt.

The body work seems fine & to be honest it hasn't had much welding on it, where did you go for the car?? There's only 3 small patches that could do with a weld the body works fine. It had a few off road bikes dragged over it which has caused damage to the roof & bonnet

The lad I've bought it off has had the car since 2007 he bought it from Kent if I remember rightly. The car at the moment is a bare shell I can send you pictures to show what welding it needs. My only confusion is the MOT states the same as what you say however I was rather surprised with its condition considering what I paid for it.

Car was in essex at the time, you've not really listened to me tho. Have you taken the carpet etc out to look at the floor from the inside?

Default C820 lvk

I sold the car around ten years ago to a guy from Canterbury , he worked with a friend of mine who said the guy had spent mega money on it having it restored! It was a very good shell when I sold it, just had rust on the bottom of the doors and a small bit on the rear valance. I'd lost my patience (and budget) with replacing boxes and clutches and always having a pool of oil outside my house. I spent most of my time on a recovery truck! As I said though the body was solid, it also had a mint dash unfortunately it had tweeters screwed into it though, it like to see some pics of it if you have it?

Here's a few more. It's a shame she's gone down hill, if I'd kept it for another month I'd still have it now as I started a different job and would have been able to rebuild her engine etc.

On the iPad/iPhone mate you just download the photobucket app, log in, upload pictures from your iPad/iPhone then click on which image you want to upload to here then copy and paste the IMG code onto here.

if you can't see where the floor has been repaired it won't be the original shell!

No rust around the sunroof nothing around the gutters even the valance is ok tyre well ok. The 3 weld spots I've put up look worse than they are, I've seen much worse there's one on eBay for Ł2k with a few days remaining & its a complete mess.
