This is a picture of my old -85 Orion. Some cutting will be needed, unless you can fit the fan behind the rad like in an XR3i. This won't work at least with the standard turbo manifold. With a single fan, the cutting will be minimal. With two, the mask lower mounting points sadly need to go. Even with two fans, the radiator will be struggling and the car needs to stay on the move. It will overheat easily if left idling. It's a very effective intercooler, but completely blocks the radiator. I don't know what better to recommend, but it's not for a daily driver.
The front panel in the picture is also bent forward, not just trimmed.
Because the lower mask mounts are gone, it's fixed with three screws from the top. You can see the holes for them.

nope
well mine wasnt !
i also ran mine with 1 x10 inch fan for 2 years just have to keep an eye on the guage and switch heaters on full when it starts to rise too much to be on safe side, but am going over to twin fans this winter ,
you can also fit a fan switch off a cossie and a lower temperature opening thermostat to keep temps down.
one other thing though mate ,i think you might struggle to get polished/shiny fans to match in with your bling !!!!

Im running the airtech front mount and alloy rad on mine,it says in the instructions that you only need to trim the front panel a little,as you can see i just went all out and cut the whole thing out
works perfectly though,no issues with overheating or anything

show us a few more pics combi im thinkin of cutting the top section of front panel out too.can you see it from front? and have you left just enough for grill to sit on?
cheers
and are they 9 or 10 inch fans?

This is how the car looks at the mo because i havnt fitted a grille yet

Auto specialist supply you with a couple of bolts to put through the top mounts of the grille because they say you have to cut the bottom lugs off the grille, this is mine with the modified grille that we cut out

not sure of size of fans but will check and let you know mate
