hi just wondering if anyone has ever done this and if they culd give me some info
i know il need a 1600 rs turbo lump complete with ecu rad, box and drive shafts what about the wiring, hubs brakes, fuel pump tank and lines reli want dis to go well plz help cheers all

 

will i have make new mounts and will there need to be stregthenin work done cheers all

 

no new mounts needed if mk2 xr2 will all bolt straight on xr2 mounts, u can even use all xr2 running gear ie, gearbox an drive shafts but would opt for s2 lsd box all depends on your budget, u will need a complete rst loom, red an a custom intercooler, a swirl pot in your fuel tank and a in line fuel pump rst/escos poss oh and before u do any of this upgrade your brakes!!

 

I think people usually use the fuel tank from an Escort?

 

quite possible mate i only ever helped a mate build his and he had an alloy in boot tank im just going on wot i no it would need

 

its a mk1 m8 so i guess il need new mounts

 

it just means u have to bolt a cradle for the gearbox on, make sure its done properly look at a mk 2 an copy it easy enough tho, an u will neek a mk 2 gearbox an mounts

 

the engine wont bolt straight in a mk1 u will need the conversion plate sold by the fiesta centre.
