If ford have given them a new car surely they would have the old one back for inspection then dispose it them selves?

The're was a steering column failure.
Ford checked it like normal. And handed him a new one because the fault was proven.
I don't think a topic can be made to take this piss when life's could of be at risk if the driver had done the speed limit. as he was followed by a police car and traveled slower than the National speed limit which was 70mph..
His pride and joy was lost and your taking the piss???

ford wouldnt break a car thats been failed on teh road for safety, its either been disposed of or sold off as salvage and broken by another person.
