kids have broken the computer
ok, so not toally bust it to shit but annoyed it enough to make it throw a fit
the mouse pointer has been lost, but it shows up if you highlight soemthing
so, how to fix? other than use the tab button to work out which one it's cloestest? to?

if i knew how they did half the stuff they do on the computer i'd be doing the reverse to fix it mate 
i don't even know how he gets the scrolling windows up, and there's a button for it on the desktop too but he doesn't use the button, just bangs on the keyboard and it happens

Ok do you have XP or windows 7/vista or something else?
Are you able to guide your way to the control panel or menus?
Try using a external usb mouse to see if the pointer returns.
If not the mouse hardware maybe disabled.
you can reset this. need to know the above first though.

try lookin on the start menu then go to control panel then mouse. bound to be smit on there, i'll look now for ya.

not yet, busy doing other stuff on it so that's the firs thing to do when everyoens finished sending pics and stuff
just through there would be an easier way but the mrs is doing it so she can deal with it

ok, the restart and it's still foinf it
but it seems to have come back when you move the mouse, it only dissapears when you stop moving it
?
and it's only happening in firefox now, not in anything else

it still doens't show up until you move the mouse
