A few ups, mostly down. Its Boxing Day and spent most of the time with my best friend, who's mother passed away today at 6pm from Cancer. Along with my grandfather's death a few months ago and a lot of other things I never want to remember, I hope to god that 2010 will bring a bit more hope and luck!

hated 09 from start to fin tbh , serious lack of work , dad passed away on fathers day and just other genral shite from start to finish including scrapping the cos s2 and having to start again


although its been just over a year since i started dating my current girlfriend ,and shes the dogs danglies , supported me throughout ,loves me to bits ( must do to put up with this nutta ) and just a absolute daimond ,

so hopefully i can take one positive through to 2010 and go from there !!!

both my grandparent died on christmas eve but a few years apart when i was younger. i wish id had a tenner on the odds of that happening.
christmas time can be depressing for many. is there many that actually enjoy the whole thing rather than trying to live upto a level of pretend happiness that they feel pressured into?

 

Lost a Uncle and Aunt this year.
Will have to have my cat put to sleep before the year is out as well, had him 15 years.
2010 is also going to be crap, im sure my mother in law will pass away very soon. This is going to devastate my wife and make life very hard.

Tbh, i'll be glad to see the back of this decade, in 2001 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, then just after she recovered from that, my stepdad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and died in '06, shortly after that, my mum became severely depressed, she's taken 2 overdoses and i had to get her sectioned last year, now she's on the verge of becoming an alcoholic.
2010 has GOT to be better! lol

 

lost a friend this year that i went to school with to cancer,she was one of those people whenever you spoke to or saw you always had a laugh at some point in the conversation(despite many tragic events in her life),her eldest and middle child are the same age as mine and my wife and i have both wondered what her house will have been like this christmas without her

we are both thankfull for our health and general happiness as i know in the great scheme of things she and i have got it ok

so as i write this i wish all out there have a better one in 2010

So far, it's been the worst year of my life.

 

my gf grandad died canser crimbo eve so no what it like

 

tbh i have hated 2009 but in 09 i got with the gf im with now and love her to bits and were having a child due in march but i lost my job also and got my st repossed i also lost a very dear and close friend this year and theres other stuff happend i dont wont to mention but the only good thing is the gf im with atm, and my child shes carrying

 

I had two good friends die (one in a very nasty accident) the year my eldest was born 13 years ago which completeley changed my outlook for '96
Now I'm not sayting you will see 09 similarly but it did demonstrate to me that nice things can happen when shit is also happening if you know what I mean

Not good mate a good family friend passed away on tuesday fron cancer

 

I'm with you on 2009 being an utterly shit year, never want to have to go though some of the things that have happened ever again

 

2009 has for once been an O.K/Good Year!

Managed to get a business virtually off the ground
But most importantly, on 18th December, my first child was born!

And basically, thanks to Little Thomas, It has been my best year to date!

 

Sorry to hear of the woes above, hope next year is better for you all, now where is the phone number as my BOSCH(top of range)washer dryer packed up christmas eve!!
Phew glad I took out extended warranty on it, hint don't buy a bosch!!

sorry to here that you havent had a good year. I had a bit of a bad year last year both my mam and mother in law got breast cancer. Oh and i got married lol i hope you have a better year in 2010. Hope to see you at some ford shows alan.

 

Will deffo be there with plenty of sausages and burgers Glenny boy Motor is looking good so far, give it another couple of weeks and she'll be better than before

I do hope people are right when they say problems come in threes, as washer dryer broke, then printer, now today toad alarm has a mind of it's own, mind you it did go swimming at Hemsby in a flood a few years back!!

looks like alot of peaple had a shit 2009. mine was diabolical to say the least

lost my well payed job for a truck dealership, broke up with fiance, lost my brand new flat thanks to her, lost my focus thanks to her, ended up in debt because of it with nothing to show then to top it off lost my grandad to whom i was extremly close to around 6 weeks ago.

roll on 2010 with what looks like a good start to a relationship & a new job offer for end jan feb time

Apart from feeling Ill everyday with apparent IBS and panic attacks this year has been ok for me.

Spents lots of time with my Son, got me Esc Cos back on road at 500bhp, got an unsuspected XMas present which I've always wanted, got a big tv, surround sound, etc, found a game I love playing on the ps3 (Normally I get bored after a week) and have a good girlfriend.

Life couldn't get much better really, so why am I always depressed

 

09 Has been shite for me aswell.

Parents split at the start of the year after an affair. (stupid bitch threw away her life) i stayed with my dads side, the divisions in the family have been unreal!.

My Grandad was diagnosed with cancer in April less than a month after my Nan was given the all clear from breast cancer, he died a week before christmas.

Work Has been on and off. I've had a few quiet months of sitting at home not earning anything.

Blew my car up late march and left it with NMS for a month whilst i saved some cash. got it back with a big bill (3 times what i paid for the car ) and the gearbox died 4 days later. got a new box, clutch slipped straigt away, faulty pressure plate. new clutch and its been ok since. *touch wood*

I'm hoping 2010 will be a better year. I've got some stuff planned and a positive outlook. Life is too short for you to sit around and wait for it to do you a good turn you need to get out there, make some luck for yourself and have some fun doing it!

2009 has been a great year for me if I give it some thought. If things keep going the way they are, 2010 can only get better too. I could and probably have moaned about this year, but when I sit and think about it, it hasn't at all. I hope all you lads having a bad time of it, things get better for you all.

Got a LOT of money coming my way at some point and certainly wont be blowing it.

Sorry to hear of your losschristmas was shite for my family as my mum couldnt get one of her customer aslo she was a family freind for the last 13 years and was no answer (very unusual) went back christmas day heard the dog again but still no answer she called the police to go up the smashed the door down and found her liying deadthen my parents had to identify her as she has no family herenightmareplus a couple of weks ago a freind took his own life a couple of month before that another freind and a couple of month before that i lost my aunti to cancer and also my dog to cancer yep its bn a shite year for me also and thats no the half of it
