Default Newbie here seeking some help!!

Hi guys im new to the website and im basically looking for some advice on a car that ive known and wanted for a few years and ive been offered a really great deal on it that isnt really worth missing out on its in need of quite alot of tlc but i am really willing to put the hard graft in to make it into a minter again. Its an Escort Cosworth Replica fitted with a 2.1 ZVH Turbo with a dyno readout of 287 bhp but its been sat for around 3 years altogether dry stored and the last 4 months its been stored outside im just basically wondering what will need to be done to the car to make it completely road worthy again. Like what sort of problems am i going to have to sort out with it.
Im only 18 and see it as a good opportunity any help would be much appreciated thanks Adam.

Due to your age I would get a few insurance quotes first, some younger people have been known to insure cars with undeclared mods, and had thier car scrapped due to the insurance being null and void.
You will probablt be best just putting in for the mot, but it's going to have rusty discs, need a oil/filter change, and unless belt is new need that as well just to be safe.
Once it's been to mot, just do whatever it finds, if anything, and give it a full service with above bits plus fuel filter, then you would be best next getting it on the rolling road for a fuel check out.
