my first atempt took around 2hours but that bit only took around 45mins, the trick is to let the hairdryer do most of the work, and dispite what people tell ya it can be used on the outside of the car

Is there anyway you could make it shiny rather than the matt finish?

Thats true in some cases, it depends what the helmet is made from.

How come that stuff stretches without pulling the stripes out of line ?
i cant see how its stretched round corners and into dishes without altering the carbon pattern ?

it does if your not carefull, depends on how deep the dish is, but if it was very deep, yould start from inside the deepest section

Hmmm the factory carbon interior bits on my Megane look crap, more of a brown kevlar weave than carbon, might pick up some second hand bits and have a go at trimming them with this stuff, always thought it'd look tacky but the stuff above looks pretty good.

Rare radio mate

I've had some for ages and couldn't decide whether it was tacky to do or not.. I did my climate surround and it does look good IMO, it's certainly a lot better than the Ralliart optional 'carbon' surround which looks like a 5 year old painted light and dark grey squares onto it (and is silly money) It certainly shames any carbon look stuff I've seen up until now. It actually has a genuine feel about it, like the mock weave is 3d and you can feel that.

Just wait for the snobs to come on and say 'ooh but its not real carbon, your actually adding to the weight of your car and its pointless'

Is there a nack to it? Or can a fud like me do it?

For some reason no matter what anyone says CF looks hot. I don't care if its vinyl or the real thing. I don't even care if some people think its played out. HOTNESS.
