Default Bought Another V6 (Pics)

After getting rid of the MK3 a couple of months back, ive been missing the V6, so ive bought another one. its a ghia x, so got all the toys, full heated electiric leather, cruise control, electric sunroof etc etc etc. its got an st kit, with a 200 rear bumper with twin exit stainless exhausts. ive just fitted my black monzas today, but cant make my mind up if i preferthem tothe standard wheels ?. its no 500bhp cossie, but for what ive paid for it, im over the moon with it.

not a bad car if you put the standard wheels back on, those nasty black ones look like they came straight outta the Ripspeed section

Your not the first person to mention the wood rich. im going to lower it and see what it looks with the black wheels on, im leaning towards leaving them on anyway, but think it will look a lot better once it lowered.

There was a possabilty of the tax going upto Ł400+ a year when the new tax laws come in, and id lost enough money on it already, so i wasnt paying that to tax it, so cut my losses while i could.

I like the ST TDCI, lovely cars

Really nice cars the Mondeo V6's but I do prefer the standard wheels and I don't like the fake wood on the dash. They are great cars for the money and I'd like one for my wife to run around in

Love it. Prefer the original wheels, but purely because of the ride height. Once sorted it'll be good.

Cheers benni, it will be lowered by the new year. the stance is better on the standard rims, the standards are 16's with 205/55/16's, the black rims are 17's with 205/40/17, so even though the black wheels are an inch bigger, the standard rims fill the arches more because of the tyres.

I don't think the standard wheels suit the ST kit, I'd get some ST24 wheels or a set of 18s. Brilliant cars I had 1999 ST and it was fantastic, pulled like a train.

My brother had a Mk2 V6 a couple of years ago. A lot of car for the cash. Was a thirsty bugger though.

And I'm in the minority and like the black wheels but it needs lowering

They are a bit thirsty if your heavy with your right foot, but steady away you get 22 - 25 mpg. i am going to leave the black wheels on it, and it will be lowered by new year.

Cheers craig. i wasnt so sure about the monza's when i put them on yesterday, looked a bit 'to' black. but the more i look at it, the more they grow on me, they do look better in the flesh than the pics, glenn said the same when he seen it today. i also think once its lowered, it will look better.
