Question escort van alloys

hi again i puchased fiesta zetec alloys to go on 1999 escort van but went to put first one on and noticed it is rubbing on brake caliper, wanted to know what size spacers to fit so it will clear and stay looking normal if that makes sense, old wheel 6j, pcd 108,et from 35mm to 38? new wheel 5.5j pcd 108 et 43.5, not clued up on this. all answers appreciated.thanks jay.

What size are the wheels in diameter? sounds like they are too small

old wheels were 13" new are 14" if this is what you ment, (not clued up on this at all).
