Default What will a Mondeo V6 fit in?

Hi, first post on here I'll cut straight to the chase

I have a Mondeo V6 I picked up cheap that I've been using as a runaround (I'm into my VW's really) and now the tax and test is due and it needs a couple of hundred quid spending on it to keep it going, which is all I paid for the car so I can't justify it. It seems a shame to just scrap it and not use anything off it myself as it's actually a really good car (apart from the way it looks)!

Sooo, would the engine fit in anything with relative ease, I'm not afraid of a bit of welding but I'd rather not get myself into another massive project, I'm in the middle of putting 2 engines in my Golf as it is!

Could I shoehorn the engine + running gear into something like a MK3 Fiesta? MK3/4 Escort? Will a RWD gearbox bolt up to the V6 so I could stick it in a Sierra or something?

I know the engines aren't the best, underpowered, weigh too much (especially for FWD in a small car) but it's just a bit of fun since it's only going in the bin otherwise!

Bit of a lengthy post for my first! Err hi!

Much work involved? Ideally I'd like to bolt it into something with minimal work, I'd rather not be looking into custom driveshafts or gearboxes you can only find in some rocking horse sh*t rare model or have to completely remodel the chassis!

From what he explained to me he had to fabricate some engine mounts, move radiator forward and cut the slam panel slightly to fit it. Then a bit of messing about to get the hydraulic clutch system plumbed in and that was about it really.

Ill have a word with him when i see him next and ask for more details.

Also he didnt use the std management as he is thinking of going turbo or a bit of NOS, so used Omex on it to give more flexibility.

Excellent, do both cars use a subframe? Driveshafts need shortening or anything? Suspension bolt up? Brake servo need moving? Not too worried about getting it running, I have everything from the Mondeo to do it with, otherwise worst case I'll put it on bike carbs and some kind of aftermarket spark management

Hydro clutch sounds less straight forward... Can you just rip everything out of the Mondeo and sling it in the Fiesta, pedal box etc?

Just had to type this out twice, f*cking sh*tty wireless internet!
