this is my 3 door twin turbo that some of you will have seen before and that i almost let die.
how she looked when i used her every day and on track.

what i found when i put her of the road after 4 years of hard use. whole front end rotten

new ford front end had to go on

inner sill repaired

outer sill fitted

twin turbo lump that was removed

how she sits in my garage today, looking sorry for herself.

just couldn't bring myself to cut her up for bits.
so to the track she will go. lots of work still to do. will have to sorce some parts i've let go as well
will keep you posted on progress. lots of long nights a head.

no not putting the v6 back it, thought of yb, but far to expensive. event the v6 cosworth is getting to expensive to do. i've got an engine, not even a ford one. a bit out of the ordinary, keep a wee eye on the thread.

it is the kit that was on most of the thunder saloons. not as wide as the x pack kit the smith and deakin sell. going to be realy had to find a set of wheels to fill the arches.
put a set of 7' wide 17s on it just to see what it was like. looked like there was no wheels on it.

Managed to get the o/s rear part of the kit smoothed in & in high build.

Let's hope I can get this pushed on now.

Not been on here for ages. Sorted my garage a wee bit to get the car back in the other week after finishing my mates S2.
From this

To this. Week lick of paint & moved compressor to give me more room.

Car in & on boggies to move about.

Painted inside and fitted cage.

Fitted seats.

Picked these up for it.

Just nice to get started on it again.

Must be done for the west of Scotland rsoc regional day at kames on the 3rd of June. There is a £40 bet on this year & I'm determined not to loose it. Was ment to be there the last 2 years. Around 10 years since I last drove it.
