Got a few little mods done to the escort and give it a clean and polish too.
Fitted the later door mirrors on the car and clear front indicators and had the side lights colour coded.
Got a bit of work done to it awell in the garage.
Had a scrape on the rear bumper, needed a bit of body work to the rear panel doing and the petrol cap sorting out,the usual rust popping through.
Had to get the rear spoilers done too as the paint work was bubbling on them, pretty common on these cars.
All the work is all done now ready for the shows/track days etc.....

Looking like it should now.
Dave.

Geert,
just a matter of swapping them over.
They are the same fitting as the early ones so no problems whatsoever.
They do look a lot better.
Dave.
Do they rattle as much as the old ones at high speed or not?
Do they have a better view?
Do you also need to exchange the base plate?
They indeed look VERY VERY nice m8.

1. no, i have not noticed, been up to 130ish on the test track.
2. Better view....no
Did notice this when i first done the conversion but i have got used to it now and its not too bad.
3. change the base plate....yes.
You get that with the mirror.
It is all one piece when you take the mirrors off, 3 screws and the lot is off, mirror , base plate etc......
