Hi all,

In my 2007 Focus ST3, I have the Sony 6 disk head unit with the steering coloum remote controls. Its the older square one like this.




I miss my boot build that I had in my previous Focus & would like to have a sub (10" most likely) in this Focus.

My question is, can I still keep this head unit & have a sub? If so, any recomendation?

I dont use the 6 disk option but may do in the future so would like to keep it.

Here is what I had before. 2 Sony subs, Alpine amp & a PC fan to keep it cool. Was in the car when I bought it.

You can wire the amp up through a pair of speaker wires that come from the headunit, through the high level input on an amp (you need an amp with this high level input), then it should work!

 

don't think they've got preouts so you need to sort them out first then things will be fine
