Wizard of Nos Progressive Direct Port System used on a 600+bhp YB engine. Use 150 shot.

If you want to use a fairly large amount then you will NEED to go progressive.
If you go progressive then dont consider any of the american makes, their solenoids cant handle it, NOS Holley for example require a solenoid rebuild every 6 minutes of use when used progressive and require a second "backup" solenoid to be used as well.

Where as i suspect if you ask Rod that he is still on the same solenoid he has had for years and it has never needed any attention at all?

I would use nos for anti lag rather than power, that is what i`m doing to my car. When the throttle is wide open the nos is injected until the turbo makes boost, then the nos is turned off.
You only need 25hp jets to achive this and the bottle will last a long time!

put it on a 3 way switch, that way you can have it as:
OFF
Antilag
Power Adder all the way up

i ran nitrous on mine.

i sold it after a few months, as i couldnt afford to run it...

a Ł50 refill would last me 2 minutes and that was running a jet size HALF what i wanted to run

if youre buying a kit, buy new as all the little bits n bobs you might be missing in a 2nd hand kit like screws, fixings, bits of pipe etc. become a headache finding

It certainly costs a fortune to use reguarly, the trick is to make sure your car is quick enough to keep you happy 99% of the time, then just use the nitrous to top it up for the rare occasions you need more.

For example i have a car (cant mention what im afraid) that had a 2.0 16v engine with about 150bhp, and i had over 100bhp more power on the gas, but due the vehicle having masses of traction etc i found myself always wanting the gas on, and was easily getting through a couple of bottles an evening (at nearly 15 quid a bottle), so instead i am now half way through swapping that engine out for one that is 250bhp (will be nearer to 280 soon hopefully), which is ideal for normal road use, and then the 100bhp nitrous kit will only get used occasionally as a top up.
