saff project for the winter
Hi all
I thought I would share some pics of my winter project I’m doing to my 2wd Saph.
Below are just a few pics of the car how it was before I started the project.

The project was just ment to be the following:
• Big wing sump conversion
• Roll cage
• Bucket seats
A few pics:

Wot I have done so far:
• Big wing sump inc baffle
• Wrap the Exhaust manifold/downpipe
• New Gaskets ( exhaust/inlet/sump/rocker cover)
• All new bolts
• Flywheel skimmed
The engine bay looked abit sorry for its self so I thought right restore time!!!
The engine bay was painted, the other bits were let the car down so I have sent loads of bits down to the powdercoats ( will get pics up once I get them)
The wiring was letting it down so I got a friend round to do a few repair jobs and make me a custom loom for ECU ( will get pics up when its made).
Will take some more update pics 2mora.

Hi all
Just a small update!!
Some pics of bits I had powered coated:

The heatshield/rocker cover/inlet plem I have sprayed the same colour as the car. (will get some better pics soon)
Once the engine bay had been painted/lacquerd the powered coated bits were put back on and the loom start 2 be repaired/uprated and tidyed away.

Few days later the roll cage turned up (What a misson tht was 2 get it in the car! had 2 take the bloody door off
)

I have ordered my seats and should be here a few days time. Hopefully this weekend i will have finshed all the little jobs and ready to put the engine back in ( if the bloke doing my loom pulls his finger out!!)
Will get some more pics up of the engine bay finshed off in the week.
Many thanx
