Default 3 door question?

dose any one else on here with a 3 door think there rad is a bit swinging in the wind .With it only having the 2 bolts in the middle section
can this be combated as now my 500 cooler is in, there is movement on both items (rad,Cooler) due to the rubbers and sleves not allowing to nip the brackets up(to take any shock vibration i presume)meaning they could knock together, thanks in advance

also just make sure the 4 bolts are as tight as poss as the rad will swing to and fro and could hit the pulleys etc

that would be fun hiting the pullys ,by 4 bolts you mean the 2 on the rad and 2 on the cooler .The 4 location bolt holes on the 3 door are pre drilled and tapped so i cant move owt any how

Hi mate I had a similair problem but noticed that the 500's have 2 extra brackets mounted at the top of the radiators and intercooler, this spaces them out from each other and bolts them to the front slam panel as well, I dont have pics of them at the moment but if you need I can post the pics up tomorrow! I fitted one of the brackets and it has made a huge difference!

please do mate

i can only thik of 1 way to get it fastend tighter on the 2 retaining bolts into the chasis(spl) and that would be to shorten the sleves between the rubers allowing for more turns on the bolt, maybe my rubbers are just a bit old

Tried this before as well mate but then the intercooler sits too high and hits the under side of the slam panel! try Some of the breakers on here for the bracket as they have broken a few RS500 and may still have the brackets I am on about! honestly they do make a big difference!
