Nah, Ian's converting his to 4x4. But his box is sold and a few others bits.

 

no mate, just that when you stated 'focos' it was the first one that sprang to mind, and knowing Ian is changing a few bits at present i wondered if it was his.

 

was it not some guy who ripped off a few guys on here then it was deleted and then he used another name to sell the parts and was found out!!!! if so i would not buy nothing off him and thank the Mr trigger happy moderator

from what i understand he had 2 sets of gauges and when he looked up the tracking number on the set that went missing it came back as signed for... why would one set be delivered and one set not??? why rip someone off for for £26

and if he was just ripping people off why would he contact me after being band and iv already sent the cheque off? dont make any sense..


seems to me that in that thread he didn't even get a chance to defend himself before he got baned, i make it one post!!!!

 

i also paid for parts then he got banned,he emailed me straight away with his number and the parcel tracking number.cant say fairer than that tbh?

cant complain but why was they shooting the guy down in that thread !! surely the would have un banned him if there was no reason!!

 

 

There was plenty of reason to ban him, as he ripped me and 2 others off, so get your facts straight please nobody deserves to be ripped off FULL STOP.

 

So basically i am a liar then???? i told the bloke over and over again i hadn't received them and he promised me a refund for over 3 weeks and i have been to all my neighbours and no one has signed for these gauges, so my guess is he never had 2 lots of gauges as you say and if he did why take the trouble of advertising only 1 lot of them?? seems pointless to me, if i had 4 autometer gauges to sell i would advertise 4 to sell not bloody 2!!! And for all your information he has also ripped somebody off to the tune of £900 for a bent rear beam or something along them lines, and you lot wouldn't like it if you were ripped off even if it was for 26p its the principle! Just because he hasn't ripped one or 2 people off doesn't mean that he isn't up to no good. NUFF SAID

 

i think you will find the beam was a miss understanding and if you contact the buyer you will see its been all sorted at the sellers cost he ended up with basically a brand new beam for the price of a second hand one !

i know this as i have spoke to both parties and the buyer is more than happy now if he was a rip of merchant he would have not done that and just said sold as seen would he not ??

 

I recieved my bits from him today aswell. no problems at all

 

Been meaning to right a reply in hear again....... The top mounts i bought were deliverd to Jacko on Monday and are all hunky dory, quick turnaround and im very pleased




Sorry don't recall calling you a liar Is it not possible that the gauges were sent out but just didn't turn up as they was lost in transit??? or dose that sort of thing NEVER happen .

Seems there are quite a few happy customers on this thread alone not to mention it now seems the Rear beam guy got sorted out in the end!!!!

 

£26 might not be alot to you but to some people it is, and that is hardly the point, i paid for the gauges promptly, he said they would be sent next day then after a week which i think is a fair time to wait i pm'd him got no reply, then pm'd him again and he said if they weren't there by the beginning of the following week he would issue me a refund, then i pm'd him again to ask why he hadn't refunded me he then said he was waiting to speak to the post office!! In the end it was over 3 weeks i spent waiting when to be honest why should i???? I still didn't get a refund and had to resort to ringing him and getting shit of him for ringing his business!!! He finally gave me a refund which i am grateful for, if he had 2 sets of gauges why not advertise that he has 2 sets(strange) if you take the trouble to advertise 1 set then why not advertise 2!!! And what he has done to other people is fuck all to do with me as this quite honestly is fuck all to do with you so fuck off............
