Default my 2wd magenta saph cos rebuild/winter project

hi peeps not sure wer to start really but here go's i found a lot of rot on my old saph and other problems so over a quick brew after work on a thursday nite last month i decided to strip it and find a beta shell for all the bits and i came up trumps, thanks loader5710 off here for the shell

the shell is really in good condition all arches mint, floor is in mint condition too. my plan for it is to go to town on it and not cut any corners, engine bay fully resparyed,re-stoned chiped and painted magenta, coilovers, mongooes system,l8 ecu and msd softwear a freshen up for the engine wiv new gasgets, water pump, sensors, and sum aero quip goodies and iam goin to get my gearbox box looked at and new clutch.

i'll try and update as much as i can for you's and keep u all filled in an no doubt sum questions for u's.

here is sum pics startin wiv my old saph and the progress tht was made then the collection of my new shell which i picked up on the 1/11/09.

the rust on the os sill/floor

back at my garage and the strip down begins on took me 3 nites and a hand from my m8s

started to pick and poke at the os rear arch

got the exhaust off

engine out

all other lil bits bein removed

then on a sunday mornin i cut it up ready for the scrap man to take

and its final journey on the bk of a tranny

R I P

now for my new shell a 14hr rwd trip to bournemouth to collect it and it was all worth it

stopped at sum services for food etc and jst to ave another quick look

now back at my garage after a long trip

gave round the boot seal a quick wipe and was amazed

nice clean back seats and dark grey carpet came wiv it,all wil b wet vaxed

it also came wiv a spare bootlid and spoiler but the 1 wiv the black tip has had sumfink react wiv the paint or laquaer so i put the colour coded 1 on 4 now

now for the arches

the job on removin the locks is awesome, went over the car wiv a magnet on a tissue and it stuck to every pannel

thts all tht ive got a the moment but i'll b workin on her 2moz so i'll get sum fresh pics for u all.

all comments welcome.

One of my fav colours for a saff. Its a shame you choped the other saff up.You could of kept the floor pan for a MK3/4 escort cosworth conversion.
