06 2.0 TDCi oil leak?
Recently had the car into a dealer for a service, has developed an oil leak since around the injectors on 1 and 4 where they enter the head. Ford dealer is getting it back in, but squirming about the warranty and claiming it's nothing they have done to cause it. I don't have a great deal of confidence in them, as when I picked the car up they'd forgotten to put a hose back on resulting in zero boost until they refitted it.
Only thing I can think of that would cause such a leak is overfilling it with oil, forcing the oil out of the top seals. It now seems to have stopped dripping which would back up my thoery if the level is back to what it should be.
Any thoughts? It's done 32k miles BTW.

My wife has a c-max 1.6 tdci. Sounds like same probelm we had. It was down to injector seals. Ford dealer admitted its a common problem. Our fist one started at around 65k. Got the job done by dealer. They changed the seals and injector for the one injector as it was ford recommendation and gve me a bill of £ 648. At 68k, the injector next to it started showing the same probelm. Trip down to ford, same story, get booked for diagnostics was the advise.
I had enough, so i took the car down to a Bosch Garage. There are plenty of them around, just check Bosch's website. They replaced the replaced the seals on the remaining three. Seals from Ford cost me £21. Labour £140. And looks fine now!
Absolute rip off!! Wrote a complaint to the dealer. Got a reply yesterday. They apparently did it in my best interest
..
My suggestion would be if you are still under warranty, demand that you get all four injectors done. The next two is only round the corner. If not run away from Ford..
Advise from anyone within Ford would be really apprciated..
