Need a little help on what inlet manifold i should i use. I'm putting a full zetec turbo engine in series 1. I've been told to use either a fiesta turbo RS1800 or rover 820 manifold. Can anyone give any clue which is the best manifold to use??

 

i have used the 1800 zetec manifold from escort si. (same as rs1800 i think) involves a bit of fannying about with the iacv to fit frst injector rail in, if your using end feed injectors.

rover inlet needs lots of work to make it fit

 

I've got a 1.8 zetec manifold but got told they are slightly different to rs1800.

 

Come on can anyone esle help

 

the lads on this site http://www.zetec-turbo.co.uk used a zetec inlet manifold and fabricated a custom fuel rail for it, check out the engine section of the website.

Streetdragster from fiestaturbo.com has used the zetec innlet too and made custom fuel rail

ive just fitted a rover inlet on mine, use the rover inlet manifold with the rover fuel rail, you just need to make an adaptor plate to allow the manifold to be bolted to the head as the stud patterns are different on zetec/rover.
