Default ive Turned To The Darkside.

Hi Guys

Well after working on them for some time at work and realising just how much better they are all round i am now viewing passionford from a 27inch Imac.

I dont mean to come across queer but It is beautifull, so nice and perfectly built. Even passionford is much much quicker, and the display is so crisp. Even better than highest HD.

Im so pleased with it its untrue.

Anyway i thought i would share it with you guys, Even windows 7 wasnt enough for me.

Once you go MAC you never go back!

lol.... great response mondeo man... Sort of response that someone makes when they dont know anything about something. How is a mac only useful for cad LMAO.

I hate to say this guys but for 15 years ive been PC/windows through and through, Only using macs at work in some graphic design studios. However once you use them there is just no comparison.

Everything is better im afraid, There are so many plus points i have not got time to list them. Give it ten years and bill will be in big trouble beleive me.

RAN If what you say happens I could switch to firefox, Or of course run my paralells machine and use windows 7.

Lol great resonse from you too.

In my experience of using them (10 yrs+ in an office environment), they are nothing but a pain in the arse.

I am aware of them being exceptional for CAD, graphic design etc, but for connecting to a business network in a world of things being geared towards windows/microsoft they are not a viable proposition for a business interested in its costs.

As said, great as a home standalone, very well made and look gorgeous, but for connecting and using in a business environment, shit with exceptions

I have a current customer that has 40 various macs and they dont have a problem.

If youre talking about a global network maybe. Thats the only thing a windows based machine is better for. (at the moment)

dont worry the tides are turning....

not sure id buy a mac to see if passionford would load webpages faster as the site loads up perfect and with good speed anyway, but would for the music creation side of things as they are stable, but you just need a good stable well built pc and to upgrade parts when they get out of date. Not to go out and buy a complete system.

lol, I had an awesome Pc, Well i still do its in my loft, Nearly the best of everything, 8Gig Corsair ram, Ati Crossfire 512 Graphics cards, blah blah blah.

And it still couldnt do simple things like load a web page anywhere near as quick and smooth as my mac can.

My only advice for any doubters would be to buy one and live with it for a while. You will never go back to pc/Windows.

I work for a company with over 15000 desktop pc's and to start using macs on a large scale would be commercial suicide for us. I could be done but not easily\cheaply and would then mean massive difficulties going forward in terms of bought in software for our clients and security policy. And im not worried about 'the tide turning'
