Default 63AMG v's M6/5

Anyone had the privilege or honour of driving both back to back?

Love the M6 but the AMG seems to be a bit of a weapon by all accounts. The Black's seem to be worth mega money. Anyone driven one of them?

Just hope the price of fuel goes down soon as well

I drove a CLS 63 at Mercedes world - my god the power was shocking, sounded like a fighter jet lol
They put me on a straight I got upto 90mph and then I'm told hands of the steering wheel and slam on the brakes - the car came to a stop without ANY drama.

depends if you want manual or auto, BMW = manual and Merc = auto, having had a fast merc, and driven a few BMW's, I prefer the Merc all the way, my next merc will be an earlly twin light AMG CL65, v12 bi turbo!!!!!

Sounds like you had an awesome time

The last AMG I drove was diesel dogs sl and that was nice because it was a roof down jobbie and hot and sunny in Spain.

bj928, not too fussed to be honest. You looking at getting the Merc soon?

I have driven all the new AMG's ( the missus works for Daimler and had an AMG open day) very fast cars, BUT everything other than the C class, bearing in mind a drive a E39 BMW felt very big and quite cumbersome (sp?)

although if you see my pics in https://passionford.com/forum/pictur...ml#post4513349 it seems you can throw them about if you know what you are doing, lol

Incorrect

M6 is NOT available as a manual. SMG only
