Is there any significant difference form standard broadband to 1 meg broadband , i know its faster but can you really tell? as i have just signed up for the change from standard to 1 meg , and now wondering if it is worth it

I have had 512kb, 1 meg, 1.5 meg and now 2 meg. The only difference will be download speeds for vids and pictures and will allow you to do more than 1 or 2 things at nce on the internet whilst downloading. It will pull in pages a little quicker as well.

IMO it is worth it.

 

Who do you get your 2 meg from?

 

For browsing the web it's pointless. If you download a lot of big files then it is worth it.

Ive just signed up to bt from 512 to 1 meg and its 29.99 a month , wanadoo do it for 27 a month but im allready with bt and couldnt be arsed to change for the sake of 2 quid

 

thats sooooooooooooooooooooooo true i got 2 meg now and i noticed fook all difference except for pictures and downloads



its a big of a ive got a bigger cock thing with the other nerds though

 

im gonna check and see how much i can get pipex 1mb for

 

alot of pics that are on the web these days are bigger than ever , so you need a better download speed simple as , ive got 1meg and have had it for about 2 years now , its still as good

 

I got a 2mb line and its well worth it imo , really good for streaming vids

I have just upgraded from the 1mb about a month ago and wouldnt go back now
