i think you should get a good ecos for this sort of money, any color your after? i might know of a man selling a totally mint mallard green one with a new 400bhp engine the car has just 23,000 miles on it before this engine went in in last few weeks, i can find out for you if interested, body work wise, sills, battery tray, if possible when going to look at one take somebody with you who know's the cosworths it could save you big money in the long run, cheers hugh

You should easily get a really clean one and insure it for that money mate, theres quite a few out there so dont rush into anything, you should be looking at stage 3 with 60k+ or mildly tuned with a few less miles on, really low miles and you are looking at 16k+.
Thats just my opinion though so its just a rough guideline.

Dont go anywhere near this though whatever you do. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ESCORT-COSWORT...item27ac9ce1b3

cheers mate ur rite there is a gud choice for that money some people think not keep thinking what kinda brand new car i could get but the choice is limited and the residual loss is to much atleast with an escos the value wont drop drastically if not theyl only go up
