Default removing...........

ok, i want to remove my inlet manifold on my s2 for a clean and maybe chroming , is there anything i should know before i do so. is it easy and straight forward?

is there anything i should replace before refitting it??

hmmm, replace the gasket that goes between injector rail, and inlet, remove all sensors/cold start if ure chroming obv. not hard to do

I did mine about a year ago, replaced it with a polished one. Quite straight forward to do just make sure all the multi plugs go back onto there correct sensors. Obviously replace all the gaskets when refitting and also the washers on the cold start fuel line banjo. I also found it easier to remove and refit the throttle housing from the manifold while the manifold was still attached to the engine.
