bought a 2wd head from him last wednesday night ( payment went through (somehow ) very late on) and bugger me the head turned up friday morning

now that is what i call service

its now stripped,skimmed,dipped,valves cleaned,and hopefully awaiting paint by our local hero beefy and chums

yayy beef will fix it strikes again ,

little more corrosion on the water jackets than i would of liked but the skim dealt with that , really good nick , and id say 2-3 skims left in the old girl ,as it was quite a heavy skim to get it bk to a1 .

valves will be polished up tomorrow, just the minor issues with the few studs to remove re-tap and replace - lap in the valves , fit up the new seals and you should have it bk bright and eairly sunday matey ...... as long as the new lifters arrive ????

hmmm by the time i get it finished indiana jones will on the look out for it

had thought about doing it but with the amount of time i get to do stuff on it it`d reallt drag on,on average i get about 1 day every 2-3 weeks

was put off by how long photobucket takes to load up pics,tho with the progress (cheers beef) its had this past week it could spur me on to load em up and start one when Jo is next on a night shift

 

Or well not to worry i know what you mean by photobucket.It is so slow but i think that could be cause of my dongle.
