just done a high security electronics collection, and to my absolute disbelief, i had several million quids worth of xbox games on the back of my lorry, namely call of duty modern warfare 2, and forza 3!!
i wasnt even allowed in the back to check the load, just told it was secured, and to drive, followed by 2 security vehicles lol
here i am waiting for MW2 on pre-order, and i was within a couple of foot of more copies than i would know wot to do with

the load only has to be moved about 2 miles, and my boss is there to check the loading, so that wasnt a worry of mine
a fair few of our trucks get hijacked in that 2 mile run though, and with good reason, Ł10m+ on a rigid 17t like mine, of easily sold on small goods, of course they are gonna be slightly paranoid
and i guess im just in the small minority who like call of duty then, how terrible of me lol

our artics do similar trips with much higher value loads over much longer distances, and their security is even better!
3 of them left just before me with the same contents, and they have to travel in convoy, no stopping for any reason, and with a lead security car, a tail car, then a couple of unknown vehicles that even the lorry drivers arent made aware of. they dnt even have to stop for the police, they are made aware of the shipment and if its not a stop for an emergency, the police just have to join the convoy
but seeing as our transport office is wallpapered with police warnings of past hi-jackings, its all for good reason. otherwise u lot probs wouldnt ever get hold of pc's and tv's and such, they would all be robbed in transit!

we were doing a job at a bank in london (not a bank job, we were working inside) when a arctic came in with a single container on its back, they backed it in and then emptied all the silver ingots out of it, they were hundreds, that had no security bringing it to the bank and had come from europe somewhere, couldnt believe it????

a lot of the time, theres only security on the small goods, as they are the ones targeted to offload into cars and vans and sell on easily.
when im in rental trucks, i deliver computer servers, stil worth hundreds of thousands in some cases, and yet due to their size and custom build, nobody would really try and steal them
also, i dont actually know where im going each day until i get to work, so organising my own call of duty stealing hi-jack isnt an option
