Hi has any one used a zoo 6 degree rear beam on there escort cosworth ?
are they any good & is there anything i should look out for when buying one

Cracked welds if its like the fiesta front arms he did

 

Bad welding, lack of adjustment and dodgy shims in the driveshafts because he cocked up the dimensions going by the ones i've seen.

 

Is he still in prison or is he now in "hiding" until all his debts are statute barred???

shop elsewhere mate the Zoo beams are shocking,go for a Bayhoo or Adrenaline beam far far better

 

I`ve had 2 and they have both been perfect, totally transform the handling of the car

And i have a beissbarth to set them up so i`m pretty sure i would know if they weren`t right

 

Just to even things up, i was very happy with mine!!

The car was much better with it fitted....i wasn't fussed that the welding was a little untidy, being underneath the car meant it didnt matter at all to me!

Brom is a sound lad, everyone has their faults! his work was always faultless on my Escos..

 

I saw it a while back whilst visiting friends. Well I thought it was at least and people seemed to confirm it was his old 3-door. All my dealings with Brom were positive

 

budweis its still on your old saff i bought it with the shell and engineas i tohought it would be impossible to get 450bhp down without it

it sure is mate ,to exactly the same spec when you had it featured in fast ford ,autronic sm4, ap 6pots ,i even bought a set of hocks for her i am slowly gathering parts as we speak and when i have everything gathered i will start putting it back together.probably wont be back on the road for at least 15 months,but i cant wait

Probably , Owes me a few hundred for a set of lower arms that snapped. Luckily only snapped when i pulled away and not a few minutes before when i was doing 60 odd down a country lane or it could have been a major accident!




He offered me some new style arms if i paid him more money!

I said yes at first then decided i rather have my money back as i knew id just be worried about another failure. Once i asked for the moeny back he ignored me from then on and then i heard his company had folded and he was getting sent down for battering little boys or something cause they called him fat lol !

 

So what did ever happen to zoo .......... ?

Ive seen quite a few ZOO products on cossies and theyve been very good products

I have a set of those arms, admitidly there the remade versions and are from thinker steel but they have been used hard on my mates RS and are now bolts to my track car.

Can't see there being any issues with um.

Don't know the bloke personaly and have never met him but the internet is great at spreading rumours etc

if he is still trading i would advise you go see him and look at his products as you'll only get contrasting feedback on here or anywhere on the web about any one you ask about.

 

Blimey !! Been on mine for 8 years or so, wow that is shocking. I can tell you first hand one of the other beams mentioned really is shocking. Isnt this Forum a wonderfull place to get an unbiased opinion .

 

Nah im not Brom , just wondered as the bloke owed me money too my car was in his place when he had a heart attack.
