i have the chance of buying a very good spec zetec turbo engine for my escort bonus lol its is on ebay but the fella has no feed back and he said pay him and he will send it all to me, i would rather go and get it but he lives 366 miels away what do you guys think? here is a link ro it does anyone reconise the pic as i have heard about alot of people getting ripped off

Would never buy an engine without looking at it, you'd be mad to if you don't know the guy or any history....with no feedback why's he gonna care about taking your money then fucking off.....or selling you a shite engine. He could be 100% genuine but i wouldn't risk it personally. Looks good in the pics but his address is hardly local if there's any problems

That would be one hell of a road trip. Only thing i could think of if you really want it would to be asking for load of details, name, address, landline DOB etc and then paying by paypal, i know that does not protect you completely but is the only way i can think of except collecting in person.

 

Not worth the risk IMO.

I would only purchase if I inspected it myself. Firstly does it exist? Secondly does it run? Thirdly is it the described spec? Too much to go wrong
