not sure on if normal pc disks are compatible??? but overclockers.co.uk usually have some good deals...

Hi Rob

Yeh thats where I normally get stuff from, but the biggest I can see on there is 500GB.

Normal PC ones are no good as these are 3.5", PS3 uses laptop (2.5") SATA drives.

I think you will have to wait a bit. biggest one at the moment is the Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD6400BEVT 640G. in the netherlands for 93,- ex postage

There are 750GB WD drives on ebay for about 130 delivered, and they have apparently released a 1TB version also, although I reckon the cost is gonna be silly for that ..

why don't you just get hold of an external 3.5" drive and connect it to one of the USB ports?

how hard is it to change the drive and get the ps3 running on a larger one ?

piss easy to change hdd on ps3 and Sony even tell you how to do it
