Default Having Right Trouble Deciding On A New Car

Right Guys could do with some friendly advice!

I have sold all my cars and now have a bit of money to spend on a car. £14000 to be exact!

However im only 26 but in my car history ive had a few tasty motors and would really like to try something else.

Some of what ive had.

51 Plate M5
54 Evo 8 FQ 340
52 Plate X5
Various Saffs Standard to 450Hp
Escort Cosworth
3 Sti Type Uk Subarus (never owned an import)
R33 GTR (420hp)
R33 GTS (300hp)
Various Classic Scoobys (never an Import Though)
Lots of Rs Turbos.
4 E36 M3s But never an E46

I would say That the M5 was the best.

Now Please dont take this a bragging post as i dont own any of them anymore. I get bored very quickly and am unfortunately always tempted by a profit.

Ive never owned a boxster but im quite a big guy and dont think it would suit me.

So im thinking

911 Carerra.
Range Rover.
Audi Bi turbo Thing But im not massively Keen.
Im worried an E46 M3 will be very similar to an E36 so im worried about that.

So what would you buy. Im genuinely Stuck, It does not have to take the whole money. It does not need to be family orientated as we have a new volvo C30 on way for that.

Should i Just buy another escos?

Im confused Lol

Help!

Mate at times i wish i had not had them because nothing really gets me going car wise anymore!

Its not as nice situation to be in as you would first of thought.

To be honest i work in city during the week so would be just for weekend.

Im a bit to big for a lotus though i think.

Or a Vx220 thing.

I have thought about Focus Sts, Especially as i could find a cheap one and maybe make a small profit out of it too.

Im just worried they will be a bit boring and slow. Ive never driven one but i have been a passenger in a standard one and wasnt massivly impressed.

i've always been a BIG ford fan, so please don't slate me for saying, what about a nissan 300zx twin turbo? a nice one would cost around £7k. i've had one, easily chipped to 400+bhp, sound/look and drive amazingly. and rear wheel drive. plus you'd have plenty of change for the 5mpg that mine was doing!

The mini looks awesome but it seems a lot of money.

RS4 was exactly what i was thinking, Are they any better than an M5 though.

Some good ideas though Guys.

I think all the mercs, audis, bmws, jags etc will not give enough of a feeling then tbf

better off with something like a cossie/jap rocket or a proper sports car like a TVR or something

There are terrible reliability issues on tvr though isnt there.

I always wanted a v8 TT lotus esprit when i was a kid until that 5th gear feature.

Yer TVR's are pretty fragile but still you will only keep it a few days by the look of it so who cares

You could buy my VR6 for 2k, add GT30 and get absolutly no traction ever lol
