Post Galaxy brake pipes

I was shocked when my garage quoted me £80 to replace the two brake pipes that go on the rear suspention arms. I can get a half decent DIY tool and roll of pipe for half that and do it myself. Im not sure what size i need could any one help please?

Hello and welcome to Pf

Size of what exactly are you after ?

Length of pipe, diameter of pipe, size of fittings, tools required etc ?

just take the old ones off to use as a pattern and take them to a autoparts shop, they will make them up for you for under 20 quid, then fit them.

do it my way it's cheaper easier and you don't need the pipe diameter although it is usually 3/16 IIRC
