Interested in getting a flat screen TFT monitor, as I just really ain't got room upstairs for the regular size 15" CRT monitors, let alone a 17"...

It don't have to be new, or a certain brand etc (tho would actually be nice if it was that kind of cream colour but not too important)

Not too bothere if it's 17" or 15", so long as it works well, no dead bits (one or two pixels I can live with- but no screen burn etc) and plugs in using a normal monitor lead

Anyone know where I can get one cheap? Been looking on eBay - some come up on there cheap, just wondering if anyone else knew of places - or if any of you work in IT circles and come across older ones that might be being sold of cheap or getting replaced/chucked etc......???

I was thinking cheap as in Ł50-Ł65 second hand kinda cheap

 

you will be hard pushed to find a decent hand one for that kinda money.

a new 15" will cost you from about Ł130 and a new 17" will cost you from about Ł165 but at least you will have a guarentee with them!

if you buy a used one and it breaks down they are ŁŁŁ to fix usually!

i just bought me dad one for xmas, 17" jobbie, cost Ł180.
3 yr guarantee included. its canny good like, might get meself one as well

 

oh and i did find a comapny in manc doing em for Ł134 but didnt leave enough time for xmas delivery.
