not sure of the make but the bottom pipe is about 1 inch in diameter and was told this runs to atmosphere, but i thought the should be a return to the sump, just a bit confused about the 4x4 sump on o/s has what looks like a oil return from the flame trap standard oil breather and i would have thought the large return on uprated breather should run to this
cheers

mine has 4 pipes. 1 from the rocker cover into the top of the breather, 1 from around the middle of the block under the inlet manifod to the middle of the breather, 1 to drain back to the sump from the bottom of the breather and 1 as a vent from the middle of the breather to atmosphere with a small filter on the end. you can see it at the top of this pic....

My escort one was into the sump i beleive but my first ever saff had just a bailey breather and that was into the atmosphere.
surely the bottom pipe should go to a catch tank or return back to the sump? fumes and gases would escape from the top with the oil running to the bottom?
on my pic the single pipe to the front is the vent.

as you only have one tank its fairly the simple. Fuzzys looks different Poss a bit home made, Still good never the less.
If its a bailey i thought it only had 3 pipes. 1 to rocker one to kidneybox at side of engine and one to sump or atmosphere.
I could be wrong though so someone else needs to confirm

as above but the fourth and slightly smaller diameter one goes to the bottom of the block on the turbo side. With the Bailey kit you get a replacment adaptor that screws into the block once the origional blanking plug has been removed. been a while since i fitted one but i think this is right!
On a Bailey mirror image breather tank there is 4 pipes. One to kidney box, one to cam cover, one to turbo side hole (Adaptor supplied) and one towards the floor for vent to atmosphere.
get a pic of your breather up first so rather than guessing we know what were looking at,
a breather in the rocker cover isnt necessary, we end up welding all of them up !
one from the back of the block turbo side to tank, one from kidney can to tank, one from tank to sump and one to atmosphere,
as above though, show us a pic and its much easier as they all varey a little
