they raisde the back of the bonnet to allow the heat to escape easyer rather than running into the bulk head! and having to go down!

Try tillio he always gets parts like this!

Got those blocks on mine, they work a treat, tempeture gauge never went higher than a quarter of the way up on the gauge after fitted.

One downside, after fitted i must have 30 people a week telling me my bonnets open!!. but they look cool

Hmm..selling war now..lol
Isn't your bonnet more inclined to open at speed with the blocks fitted due to the angle of dangle? Thought people recommended bonnet pin fit also if the rear is raised?

gavintwopies, trader are we?

Davey8oy, where possible we always reccomend using a passionford trader, tried and tested service, especially from lee@fusion.

Didnt realise that i was treading on anyones toes? at the end of the day he came on here looking to find where to get these things from and i make them , no one came on straight away and made him an offer so thought i'd help him out.
not only can i make these riser blocks but also make many other things for me mates and locals around our area inc 1.8, 2.0 and 2.1 zvh engines etc, etc which i could also offer to ppl on the cheap but dont!!

and as LEE@fusion would know its hard to get started when ppl are all to keen to stop you from helping out (trading if you like) before you start?????

but if thats how it is on here then sod it i dont make anything and cant provide a service even though i can!!! (yes i've spat my dummy)

I thought this site was set up for ppl to help out each other as best they see fit, but if its all mates together then i guess ppl are going to start and have to pay £15 for these from here on out and as for LEE@fusion no i'm not that hard up i just dont have the overheads.

pins are not a necessity , he bonnet is raised 15-20 mm at the back ,

this causes virtually no dofference in the location of the bonnet catch ,

if you wanna be extra safe then yeah fit a set , i have them on mine , but its a track car so a bit different .
