..and all the other search engines I'm having trouble with Excel not recognising the Tilde character ~ so wanted to check if there is anything about it online.

If you search for ~ there are no results at all Bizarrely, if you search for Tilde you will find plenty of resuts that include the character so why is it not found?

 

Same for any symbol. None of them return any results!
